  4. fraud-Australia’s largest superannuation theft ($180m) fund manager Shawn Richard was convicted for dishonesty and served time in jail. The Trio Capital fraud was uncovered September 2009, Richard was sentenced in the NSWSC August 2011. No money was retrieved and the money trail was never explained to the people who were robbed.

  5. A lot of those listed won their appeals, are therefore, innocent and rightly live in the community with you and I. You url would be more credible if you named and shamed the crooked cops who “bricked” a lot on your list. Until you show that sort of balance you will always be a “ghoul” in the eyes of most educated folk.

      It is not a case of winning an appeal.
      Kina, for example, openly admits she murdered her partner. So she says she was badly treated by him and ‘got off’. The fact remains…

      It is unfair to others that any murderer should cry ‘But he did this to me…’ and walk.
      Yes, some innocent people have been bricked by crooked others. Not all have been cops.
      They include:
      Crooked cops, crooked informers, crooked lawyers, crooked doctors et al.
      Mabo, for example only got off a murder because she was related to Eddie Mabo.
      Whites would hang. You cannot discount this fact. It DOES make a difference.
      Even Southerners in Qld have suffered grievously simply because the have been Southerners.

    3. They might have “won” their appeals which is crazy in some cases eg one woman put the HOE through her baby and when she heard the baby crying ‘ran back to finish her off’ etc. Terrible wicked crimes that HAPPENED.
      “Won” doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, that the person didn’t DO it.
      And such people are walking around the streets with grins a mile wide as if they have done nothing wrong?
      Don’t smooth it over. Give the slaughtered dead DESERVED RESPECT.

  6. My brother Peter Porter was stabbed 15 time, spiked through the chest with a star picket and his throat cut by Anthony Warren at my brothers general store in Nerrin Nerrin Victoria in 1990. Anthony Warren came from Maryborough. He is now out of prison but my brother isn’t out of the grave. How come you don’t know about this brutal murder.?????

    1. I worked alongside David Ronald Thompson in Vietnam. He called himself Ron Thompson. He was a particularly nasty piece of sh**. He is a serial rapist, being convicted of multiple rapes in QLD in the late 1970’s. He came to W.A. and raped Judith Scott in May 1985. When she reported the rape to W.A. Police, he organised two scumbags to murder her, and make it look like an accident. They pretended their car was broken down and gained entry to her house, where they tied her up. They then drowned her in the bath and then slit her wrists to make it look like suicide. The W.A. cops just passed her death off as suicide, despite her husbands and friends insisting it wasn’t. Then a tip-off made the police realise Judith Scott had been murdered, and they managed to catch the bastards who did it. One of them, Evan Leon Hall, served 22 yrs, and was released in 2008. Not sure about the other killer. Ron Thompson was jailed for several years in March 1986 along with Hall and the other killer – and not long after Thompsons release, he murdered Hilda Fry when she caught him robbing her house. The police didn’t catch Ron Thompson until 9 yrs after Hilda Frys murder (2002) when he confessed to murdering her. I hope he rots in jail until he dies.

      1. Woops – My error above. I have found that David Ronald Thompson is not the Ronald Thomson (note name spelling) who served in Vietnam, and who raped Judith Scott and who organised her murder.
        David Ronald Thompson was born in 1973 and resided around the Mandurah/Dawesville area where he carried out multiple rapes. He later murdered Hilda Fry in a botched robbery.
        David Ronald Thompson has been sentenced to indefinite detention because he is a serial rapist as well as a murderer, and refuses to change his ways or even take responsibility for his behaviour.
        Ronald Thomson has possibly been released after serving his life sentence for organising the Judith Scott murder.
        I can find nothing on him, apart from his sentencing in March 1986.

        1. My folks were friends with David Ronald Thompson’s father and step mother in the 1970’s in the Falcon/Dawesville area. He is 3 years younger than me. My folks say he was an “odd” kid. I later met up with him by chance in a group of people I was hanging around with in the early 90’s only a couple of years after he murdered Hilda Fry. He actually cracked onto me one night and I said I wasn’t interested. It was years after the murder that he was raping women in Falcon. He would hide in the bushes along the bike path and grab woman walking or riding past. It terrifies me to think how close I came to maybe being one of his victims. He remembered me from when we were kids and knew all about my family etc and it was only after hanging out for a while that he told me his surname and I realized who he was. I don’t think they should ever let him out! YUK!! I was very shocked when he was finally caught and named.

          1. Thanks, Jo. Yes, it’s scary how close we come to being victims sometimes. I fronted a nutter in 1994 who was beating his wife in the street in Walter Rd West (North Inglewood, W.A.). He was definitely a murderer on the loose.
            He started to attack me, and I took off up the street in my Landcruiser as fast as it would go, and I had him running alongside me for 300M, trying to grab me. He was absolutely feral.
            I rang the cops and 3 police cars rocked up to the house on Holmes St where he raced into. I reckon the cops knew who he was, straight up.
            There were people standing back too frightened to intervene, and I know why, now.
            If I hadn’t got away in my Landcruiser, I’d be dead now, for sure, just another statistic.
            I never heard anything about the episode and never even found out his name.
            He was a big (175cm+), young white blonde male, and heavily built, and he was definitely a ruthless killer.
            Ronald Thomson threatened me once in Vietnam, and I knew then, he was a very dangerous bastard to be around, and I kept well away from him.

  13. I am searching for information on a Francis (Frank) Corby born around 1924 -30, he lived in Brunswick Victoria. AU.
    He was involved in crime, had many friends in underworld or mob and was a stand over man for them, he was often on run from police and I believe in mid 1950-70s he was sent to Pentridge prison.
    . . He has since passed away.

    2. We got scammed by a person named Alex Symes as well. He have lived at our property rent free for more than 1 month. He is a con artist! He lied about his references and many others! Dont trust him, he has a partner named Melisa and both are not trustworthy.
      I dont understand why is he not in jail after many things he has done.

  17. Hey there, I was surprised convicted child killer Derek Percy was not added for his murder of Yvonne Tuohy and attempted murder of her friend.
    He was believed to have been a number one suspect in other child murders including the Beaumont children and Wanda Beach murders.

Hi can you please see if you can find any info of my step father Darryl John Cooke who was in Turana boys home, and escaped from there with 4 other inmates, spent lots of time at H division in pentridge went to ararat and Lodden. He was in many Victorian jails and escaped from a few including when playing footy. He was released from jail due to dying from cancer and we never had any personal affects left due to a fire and not being able to contact his family. My mother, myself and his boy ( my brother ) would love to find anything we can even news clippings or photos, we have nothing left of him at all. I do have a DOB or close to what I’m sure it is but would like to see if you have any info as I see you have a few of his friends listed above haha. Most people called him Cookie or few called him DJ. Would appreciate if you could give me any info at all. Cheers.

I was in Parramatta Gaol in the 70’s and I remember 2 little bald men and in them days you carried a number on your shirt pocket, well their numbers were 1 and 2 and if anyone out there can tell me what there names are as I have wondered who they were all these years, an old screw that lives in the area said they were Annersly and Smith but I cant be sure that’s correct, so please help anyone

  43. Looking for info on Bruce Douglas Connell. First murder Feb 1970 Sydney. Second murder Jun 1970 Rooty Hill. Sentenced for life for first murder. While appealing conviction in 1971 he escaped custody. I remember a house in Emu Plains being surrounded with cops, I believe a relative lived there and they he was hiding there. I used to live close by. I can only find a small handful of articles. I dont know what happened in relation to the second murder.

  44. My # yr old son Jye Conrad Perry was murdered in Rockhampton on Boxing Day 2002 by his step aunt Natalia Perry. She stabbed my son 6 times. She also murdered her own son 5 yrs before by stabbing him. Both times she got away with murder.
