Teddy bears, family portraits and children’s drawings: Chilling crime scene photographs inside the Baden-Clay family home four days after Allison disappeared

Amazing interactive crime scene photographs from the trial for the murder of Allison Baden-Clay have taken jurors inside 593 Brookfield Road in western Brisbane where the former beauty queen was last seen alive

The photographs were taken by Queensland police officers on Operation Kilo Ring at the house four days after she was reported missing on April 20, 2012, and then at Kholo Creek 14km further west after her body was found on its banks by a kayaker 10 days later.

The Crown tendered the pictures after opening its prosecution case in the trial of Gerard Baden-Clay for the alleged murder of his wife.

  1. Alison’s phone records show a 13 minute internet session on her phone was started approx 6:31am April 20. Gerard called 000 at 7:15 approx. Alison’s phone has never been found – who used the internet on her phone for 13 minutes on the day she went missing?

  2. Can anyone shed some light about where that supposed phone in the middle of the night between Gerard and his father has been mentioned in court???
    Cheers

  3. Why didn’t Prosecution ask whether he’d ever cut himself shaving before or since, under what conditions and what was the result and who noticed (names, approximate dates, which can then be followed up). If effectively it had never happened before or since, or certainly not with these results, that would be fairly incriminating.

  5. At 6:31 Allisons phone was turned on, and it automatically accessed the internet
At 6:32 Gerard makes initial attempts to phone her…coincidence?
Did he assume Allisons phone would need to be turned on to register a missed call?
He tried ringing several times in succession before Allison’s phone was disconnected, and then he called Police.
All Police need to do is look at Gerards phone to see if his call or internet connection originated from Origin “Fig Tree Po” the same place Allison’s phone was last used.

  6. This case haunts me.
    Some comments:
    1) If Allison had crepe Myrtle leaves in her hair, that is significant. She had been to the hairdresser the day before so was unlikely to be gardening…. She must have been
On the ground somewhere before reaching the bridge . So not suicide. There were crepe Myrtle trees at her home. Can forensIc biologists match a leaf to a parent plant?
    2) Gerard’s huge Master card bill must have been causing him financial pressure. He said they were “maxed out” , Things were coming to a head financially for him

    3) Infidelity is not a crime, but citing a date to his mistress when he would leave Allison suggests that he was bringing things to a head

    4) Toni deluded herself about this man and made excuses to justify her actions… She said that she and Gerard had sex in his home when Allison was away but not in the main bedroom.Silly girl. And how tough things must be for her twins

    5) Whose DNA was under Allison’s nails? Surely that excludes suicide.

    6) Someone used Allison’s phone to access the Internet the morning she was reported missing. Do phone account records track the sites visited in that time?

Poor Allison and poor little motherless girls.
